| "new" players an the use of MacMahon 3.4
From: Dejvi On 12 April 2012 at 11:38 Hello! We have 2 "new" players registered for a tournament. One of them is 2 k (from EU) and the other is an 8D from USA. If i try to use the: "Allow ratings for participants function" those 2 players get 0 MMS points at the start of the tournament. Do I set the rating manually to 2600 for 6Dan and 1900 for 2kyu. Or should I not use the rating to make parings? Thanks for the answer. |

| Winning Statistics

At present the existing text display on the page is greyed out and it looks like the system is frozen. At the end of the even game stats, you list the number of records. It would be great if you could also add the dates set for the stats.  |

From: Sylvain Ravera On 01 April 2010 at 15:58 Hello, I am interested in the "statistics" page of the EGD (the summary by country at http://www.europeangodatabase.eu/EGD/Stats_Country.php). 1) I suggest to add 2 lines at the end of the array of countries : - A line "All European countries" - A line "All countries" This way, it would be easy to compare the national statistics with the european statistics. 2) Is there somewhere on the web site an explanation of the meaning of each column ? If not, I think it would be a good idea to add this kind of information, so that it would be easier to understand, for example : - Does the column #6, titled "Average GoR (rank)" stand for all players, or for EGF ranked players only ? - Why are the values different in columns "Average Rank (GoR)" and "Average GoR (rank)" ? |
